SWilliam Recruitment is seeking an Accountant with 3–5 years of professional experience on behalf of a client company based in Athens.
Key Responsibilities
- Recording and reviewing accounting entries
- Performing reconciliations of customers, suppliers and bank accounts
- Monitoring invoices and payments
- Supporting the month-end closing process
- Assisting with VAT, withholding taxes and other tax obligations
- Communicating with external partners and accounting advisors
- Preparing financial and accounting reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in an accounting department or accounting firm
- Good knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP or accounting software
- Good command of English
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
